Borokhov, Ilya D. is a poet, a painter, a sculptor, a member of the Board of “Krymchakhlar”( it is a national society of Krymchaks of the Crimea), Honored worker of culture of the Crimea.
This poem was written by I. D. Borokhov. It is dedicated to the creative activity of Victoria Korkishko. Unfortunately, we are unable to translate it into the form of a poem, so we offer you only an interlinear translation.
The warmth of Victoria’s soul gives us the rich colors of southern flowers,
And wonderful blue sky of the Crimea.
Her soul loves the silence of museums and art galleries
The most important thing for all of us there is a creative work on the maturity and perfection of our soul
Try to know and understand the beauty of the world
And show it in your pictures for everybody
Remember, that you are a part of the universe
Don’t forget it and don’t waste the priceless treasures of your soul
The painter’s brush is the tool, which help you to show the beauty of the world
To capture the moments of life, to show all colors of nature
There are flowers, mountains and gorges on your pictures
Salty wind blows over the sea,
The emerald and turquoise shades of the sea are so beautiful
We can even feel the fragrance of boxwoods, pines, roses
And how wonderful are golden sparkles of the Sun, which are dancing here and there
Our Peninsula is so attractive for artists; it is the source of inspiration for them
Remember, that the miracle of poetry and art is born from the prose of everyday life
Let the inspiration always appears as the sun rises in the morning
