From August 11 to 21, the XXI International Slavic Plein Air was held in Stary Oskol. The open-air was attended by artists from different cities of Russia – Simferopol, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Lipetsk and Belgorod regions, as well as from the Republic of Belarus. The event was held as part of the implementation of the national project “Culture”. Areas of artists’ location are places of the Starooskolsky district: temples, architectural monuments, parks and squares. At the end of the plein air, the final exhibition of works written during the event took place. All the paintings created were donated to the funds of the museums of the Starooskolsky city district.
